Summer Beach Meditation 2024
Join me this summer at the Charlotte, Vermont Beach for morning meditations starting on May 17th, 2024.
We’ll gather every Friday morning, (weather permitting) outside on the grass or dock at the beach. Classes run from May 17th, 2024 to September 27th, 2024 from 7:30am to 8:30am. Drop-ins are welcome.
Please bring a low chair or a mat for sitting, as the ground is sometimes wet in the morning. I’ll bring some back jack chairs as well.
I’ll start each meditation session with a brief talk about a meditation philosophy point, then lead us through some breathing techniques (pranayam), quiet chanting and a guided mediation. Most of the time we’ll sit quietly with eyes closed watching the inner activity of the mind.

I’ve been practicing meditation for more than 30 years, including studying with a meditation master in the Himalayas of India for much of that time. Meditation is a transformative process that is open to anyone. It brings about the peace, joy, contentment and happiness we all crave in a world that seems very much devoid of all those things right now.
